About

A woman in a white blazer sitting on a brown leather chair in an office, smiling at the camera, with a bookshelf and decorative objects in the background.

Mary Romasanta is an author, technologist, and mother of three young boys who transformed a 20-year corporate career into a flourishing passion for writing. With a talent for blending psychological thrillers, science fiction, and the supernatural, she defies genre boundaries to craft stories that linger in the mind long after the final page.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, just steps away from the city’s largest cemetery, Romasanta grew up steeped in the mystique of the supernatural. As the daughter of a pastor and a florist, she found inspiration in both the ethereal and the everyday, fueling her fascination with the unknown. These early influences are reflected in the vivid backdrops and eerie atmospheres of her debut novel, Avīci Sagga, and subsequent novels, The Eternal Secret and Infestation, as well as subsequent novels, Oscar and La Llorona: The Awakening.

With a unique blend of genres and an unwavering dedication to exploring cultural and spiritual dimensions, Romasanta invites readers to confront the thin veil between reality and the supernatural. Her stories challenge perceptions, provoke thought, and guide readers into the depths of both terror and transformation.
